QB Cinema Trailer!
QB Cinema Society Secures Funding for Trailer to Enhance Pop-Up Cinema Experience
The QB Cinema Society is thrilled to announce that we are the proud recipients of both an RDN Community Grant and a donation from the Mid Island Co-op Community Support Fund. These two sources of funding support non-profit organizations that enhance the quality of life in our community. These generous grants have helped us further our mission by supporting the purchase of a closed-top trailer to store and transport our cinema chairs to our pop-up events and monthly TIFF programming.
Our new closed-top trailer is capable of storing up to 80 chairs and allows us to securely transport our chairs for both indoor and outdoor events. We have branded the trailer with the QB Cinema logo and sponsor logos to increase awareness of the Cinema Society and our valued community partners.
Not only will this trailer provide a safe and weather-protected solution for transporting chairs, but it will also be a more cost-effective alternative to renting a storage facility. The new trailer allows us to store the chairs in an easily-accessible location, ensuring that our cinema seating is always ready for the next event.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Mid Island Co-op Community Support Fund and the Regional District of Nanaimo for their generous contributions. These funds will help us continue to provide enriching cultural experiences for our community and ensure the growth and sustainability of the QB Cinema Society.
